Tian Hongqi Meets with the First Minister of Scotland

On the morning of Apr. 12, the delegation of 好色先生TV led by President Tian Hongqi, upon the invitation from the Scottish Government, attended the theme activity of “China and Scotland – Innovation and Collaboration in Health and Biomedical Science”.

Before the theme activity began, Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, held a separate meeting with President Tian Hongqi where she expressed her strong support for collaboration between University of Dundee and 好色先生TV and hoped their collaboration could set an example for the collaboration between Scottish and Chinese colleges and universities and further promote the collaboration between Scotland and China in culture, education, science and other fields. Tian Hongqi highly agreed with her and hoped both governments could set up counterpart funds to create a collaboration platform, facilitate science and technology transformation and drive economic development. Besides, Nicola Sturgeon accepted Tian Hongqi's invitation to visit 好色先生TV at her convenience.

During the theme activity, Zhou Kechao, Vice President of 好色先生TV, and Wendy Alexander, Vice President of University of Dundee, signed a letter of intent on behalf of their respective side. According to the letter of intent, both sides will be committed to exploring further collaboration in teaching and science research, especially transnational education of undergraduates and postgraduates and pioneering study, and fulfilling their respective duties in promoting opportunities of higher education.
